Summer Season (May 10 – Sept 13, 2026): Daily 9 AM – 5 PM. Winter Season (Sept 14, 2026 – May 8, 2027): Monday–Friday 9 AM – 5 PM, self-guided tours with a suggested $15 donation.

8800 Heritage Center Drive, Anchorage, AK 99504. We are located about 10 minutes from downtown Anchorage via the Glenn Highway. Take the Muldoon Road exit, stay left on North Muldoon, cross the bridge, then take the first right onto Golden Bear Drive and right onto Heritage Center Drive.
What are the admission prices? +
Summer 2026: Adult $30, Senior (65+) $26, Youth (4–17) $20. Alaska Residents: Adult $15, Youth $13 (with ID). Military: Adult $15, Youth $13 (with ID). College Student $15, K–12 $11. FREE: Children under 4, ANCSA members, Indigenous individuals with tribal enrollment, Southcentral Foundation guests. After 4 PM: 50% off.
Is there a free shuttle? +
Yes! During the summer season (June 1 – Sept 13, 2026) we offer a complimentary round-trip shuttle from downtown Anchorage (W 4th Ave & E St) and from select midtown hotels. The ride takes approximately 15 minutes. The shuttle holds 15 passengers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do I need to buy tickets in advance? +
Tickets are available online in advance at ticket-order/ or at the Ticketing Desk upon arrival. We recommend buying online during peak summer season to save time.
Is ANHC accessible for visitors with disabilities? +
Yes. ANHC has wheelchair-accessible paths throughout the campus, accessible restrooms, and sensory accommodations. ASL interpretation is available by request. Please call us at (907) 330-8000 to arrange any specific accommodations.
Can I bring my school group or class? +

What is the Ch'k'iqadi Gallery? +
Ch'k'iqadi (a Dena'ina word meaning 'the things we buy') is ANHC's gallery where you can purchase authentic Alaska Native art, jewelry, apparel, and more directly from Native artists. Your purchase supports our artists and the Center.
Can I buy art or gifts at ANHC? +
Yes — at the Ch'k'iqadi Gallery inside the Heritage Center. We also feature rotating vendor tables with Alaska Native artists selling directly on-site during the summer season.
What happens during a typical visit? +
A typical visit includes walking the six Village Sites (traditional dwellings), watching live cultural demonstrations and dance performances, exploring the Hall of Cultures, visiting the Ch'k'iqadi Gallery, watching a short film in the Theater, seeing the Healing Garden monument, and grabbing a snack at Café Di'eshchin.

The Alaska Native Heritage Center is honored to be guests in the traditional territory of the Native Village of Eklutna, a Dena'ina Athabascan Tribe.
